Muddin' Out The Old Year

Tristan and I took the Jeep out for a little muddin' adventure a few says ago. It was fun, but I thought I got it stuck in the first mudhole. It took 10 minutes of rocking back and forth to finally work it out. APPARENTLY, you should be rigged up with mudding tires and not all-terrain tires. It was a lot of fun, but I think I'd rather climb rocks with it.

So I didn't make a List of things I want to accomplish this year yet, but I'll get to it.

One of the items that will be on said List is: Write everyday for a year. Yes, I'm finally going to get back to blogging. I've missed it tremendously.

I'm working on a big file transfer right now, but maybe I'll come back later and write that List.

Hello Again

Hi, guys.
Crazy times...
Lots of wack stuff has surfaced concerning my parents.
That's an understatement... I don't think I ever want to
see them again.

In other news, the photography biz is growing and doing quite well.
We're overall happy with the way things are going, but I would LOVE to
be able to put more time into it.

So I guess KCL has gone down. I can't find it. Bummer, I was wanting to start writing
again in a little more private venue. I hope everything is ok...

Training, as always, is still an ongoing thing in my life.
I've gone between lifting and trying to bulk up, to running exclusively,
to now swimming, biking, and lifting all together.

The real deal Ironman has contracted to have races in The Woodlands, Tx for the next 5 years.
I plan on volunteering in 2011 and racing in April 2012. I guess training-wise,
everything is leading up to that race. It's the big one.
I want to be able to say "Why yes, I AM an Ironman."

The Talk

Had a talk with Tristan tonight... "THE Talk".

I've been planning it for the last couple of weeks. I wanted to get the point across in the right way. It went as well, or maybe even better than expected.
I love my boy.

It wasn't until a little later that I realized what the date was. May 7th. I Hate this date... Maybe something in my subconscious is trying to change that, because now it has a new significance.

Also, I recorded the entire conversation with my iPhone. Heh, should make for a good conversation piece in about 20 years.
